A postmortem pathological study for the toads, Bufo regularis collected from polluted areas is carried out. The pathological evidences which are observed include:
1- Enlargement of the size of the testis with stimulation of spermatogenesis, disorganization, degeneration of the cysts of spermatocytes and spermatogonia, vacuolation and poorly development of the interstitial tissue.
2- Abnormalities in the gonads (testis on one side and ovary on the other, or testis and ovary on the same side, ovotestis) are also observed. These changes may occur as a result of the effect of pollutants affecting the fertility.
3- Liver tumors (sessile or pedunclated) which are most prominent, fat body and testis tumors, haemorrhage in the wall of the stomach, liver and fat body lobes, skin ulcers and evagination of the urinary bladder outside the body due to the effect of the toxicity with pollutants which are mainly insecticides.
