Schwannoma is a benign neoplasm that originates from the neural sheath of Schwann cells. Extracranial schwannomas are commonly observed in the head and neck region in 25% to 40% of all schwannomas; however, presentation in the oral cavity is very uncommon. Schwannoma may cause different issues based on location and extension. It usually resulted in facial disfiguration as well as discomfort and speech difficulties. Malignant transformation of a Schwannoma is an extremely rare event but has been reported. Treatment modalities include observation, radiosurgery, radiotherapy, nerve-sparing stripping resection and complete excision. This case report describes an 8-year-old child who presented with a slow-expanding, non-painful growth at the lower lip over a duration of one year causing distortion of the lip. The child underwent surgical excision of the growth and histopathological examination findings correlate with classic Schwannoma. The patient was followed up and fully recovered with no sign of recurrence.
