Educational Technology - Concept,Importance and Approaches

Abstract

Just as the field of education is wide and includes everything from learning, teaching, instruction
and training, similarly, educational technical behavior technology instruction, technical audiovisual
technical system, method of teaching, technology – oriented learning instruction
framework and training communication psychology, etc. are included in this way. The field of
education technology has become very wide, from clear and school educational processes to the
very information broadcasting and philosophical processes and the field of education technology
has spread, according to the registry, to identify these objectives and characteristics in the field of
education technology, planning the learning environment. The construction of content and
organization of teaching selection of teaching skills, selection of learning tools and learning
assessment include future improvement in the development of trends. Educational technology
particularly affected the teaching process, in which the principles of teaching are being given
more importance, the role of educational technology need and importance are very useful and
effective in the following areas of work – Teaching theory ,Audio visual equipment selection,
Analysis of teaching, Determination of educational objectives, Teaching – learning array –
selection of compositions, Curriculum development, Analysis of the behavior of the
learner, Assisted in nurturing, Teaching paradigm and Appropriate control by assessment
etc.
