Assess the knowledge regarding breast cancer among women (30-45 years) in Venkatachalam at Nellore

Abstract

Abstract: Objectives: To assess the level of knowledge regarding breast cancer among women 2. To find out the association between the level of knowledge regarding breast cancer among women with their socio demographic variables. Methodology: Cross Sectional Descriptive research design with sample size of 50 women were selected by Non probability convenience sampling technique. Semi structured questionnaire were used to assess level of knowledge regarding breast cancer among women. Results: The level of knowledge of women, 12% had adequate knowledge, 32% had moderately adequate knowledge and 56.%
women had inadequate knowledge regarding breast cancer. Conclusion: The findings of the study reveals that majority of women had inadequate knowledge on breast cancer
