A STUDY OF SENSE OF HUMOUR AND TPACK WITH PROFESSIONAL COMMITMENTOF SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the relationship of Sense of Humour and TPACK with Professional Commitment of senior secondary school teachers.The study was conducted on a sample of 600 Senior secondary school teachers from various schools situated in Haryana state. Teachers Sense of Humour scale (TSHS)developed by Malik and Kapoor (2014),TPACK scale developed by Sharma and Sharma(2017) and Professional Commitment scale developed by investigator were used to asses Sense of Humour,TPACK and Professional Commitment of Senior Secondary school Teachers. Causal comparative method of research and Random sampling technique was used in the study. The result indicated that there exists positive and significant correlation of sense of humour and TPACK with Professional Commitment in both Male, female and Urban ,Rural senior secondary school teachers. The study reveals that if sense of Humour goes for increase one unit,Professional commitment will increase by 0.154 units, further if sense of Humour goes for increase one unit , TPACK will increase by 0.08 units.
