An Ecological study of Black Elk Speaks,Mad Bear and Rolling Thunder

Abstract

This study aims to explore the issues of ecology and environmental justice in American Indian biographies.The paper examines the strong connection of American Indians with nature in three biographies Black Elk Speaks, Mad Bear and Rolling Thunder. American Indians have a very strong connection with nature and they treat nature as a living ‘Being’. The Biographies Mad Bear,Black Elk Speaks and Rolling Thunder highlight the issues of displacement, loss of land, environmentalism.
