This paper investigates the relationship between foreign language training and export performance of firms. We combine three different firm-level datasets from Turkey and test the hypothesis that firms, which provide foreign language training, have higher export propensity and destination diversity. The results show that firms that offer foreign language training to their employees have higher odds of being exporters and enjoy higher levels of foreign market diversification.
