Surgical management of persistent urachus in a calf

Abstract
Persistent urachus is a congenital or acquired defect. It mainly occurs when the embryonic connection between the bladder and allantoic sac fails to close after birth. This condition is commonly diagnosed in domestic foals and sometimes in calves as well. The present paper highlighted about the surgical management of persistent urachus in a calf.
