Spontaneous urinoma from mildly raised intra-abdominal pressure: a case report

In patients with predisposing conditions, minimal increases in intrabdominal pressure may be enough to rupture the renal collecting system and cause spontaneous urinomas. We present the rare case of a 44 year old man with IgA nephropathy who developed a urinoma secondary to mildly raised intra-abdominal pressures from defecation.
