Abstract

Natural hazards, market uncertainties, political unrest and changes in the govt. policies are the major factors that forces individuals, households and communities to negotiate to reduce their vulnerability and improve their welfare and livelihood status. Sustainable livelihood is the fundamental key to eradicate poverty and hunger. Now the question arises “What is meant by livelihood?”
