Phytochemical analysis and antibacterial properties of Cassia Senna alata

Abstract
Objective: To check the medicinal properties, biochemical parameters, nutritional profile, and antibacterial activity of Cassia Senna alata, which is grown in Sindh, Pakistan.
Methodology: The biochemical, phytochemicals and antioxidant levels were checked and the antibacterial activity was measured by well diffusion method.
Results: Cassia plants contained sufficient macromolecules and small molecules, antioxidative components and had antibacterial activity against different pathogens.
Conclusion: Cassia senna alata contains phytochemicals and has medicinal properties such as antibacterial and anti-oxidants and it may be used by medical practitioners.
