Abstract

Abstract: Diabetes mellitus called the disorders of silent killer and now recognized as one of the fastest growing threats to public health in almost all countries of the world .Objectives : To assess the level of medication adherence on diabetes mellitus among adults.To find out the association between the level of medication adherence on diabetes mellitus among adult with their selected socio demographic variables. Materials and methods : Descriptive research design, 50 adults who are in the age of 20-60 years with diabetes mellitus were selected by Non probability convenience sampling technique. Modified Morisky medication adherence rating scale was used to collect data and data was analyzed with descriptive and
inferential statistics. Results: 4(8%) of adults had high adherence, 40(80%) medium adherence and 6(12%) low adherence on medication.
