Teflon and the Health Consequences

Abstract

Human beings are affected by chemicals in the environment. Some chemicals are persistent in the environment and the chronic exposure to these chemicals leads to some health consequences in human. Traces of a large variety of both natural and man-made compounds can be found in the tissues and body fluids as a result of exposure to these compounds in air, soil, water, food, and consumer products. In this review one of these chemicals, teflon, teflon products and their health consequences are evaluated.
