Cerebrospinal fluid spaces include cerebral and spinal subarachnoid spaces and ventricles. The motion of CSF accounts combined effect of CSF production rate and superimposition of cardiac pulsations. There are several pathologies like obstructive hydrocephalus, non-obstructive hydrocephalus, Normal pressure hydrocephalus, Chiari malformation, arachnoid cyst, and syringomyelic cyst which changes CSF dynamics. Cine CSF Phase-contrasts MRI of the brain and spine are often a useful problem-solving tool.
