GREEN SYNTHESIS OF 4-((UN)SUBSTITUTED BENZYLIDENE)-N-ARYLAMINO-2-((UN)SUBSTITUTED STYRYL)-1H-IMIDAZOLE-5(4H)-ONE DERIVATIVES

Abstract

We have achieved an efficient and green synthesis of 4-(benzylidene/substituted benzylidene)-N-aryl amino-2-(styryl/substituted styryl)-
1H-imidazole-5(4H)-one derivatives in good yields by using 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) as a catalyst.
