A case diagnosis as acute myeloid leukemia on a Family Medicine Policlinic

Abstract: Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) is a life-threatening hematological malignancy that occurs in the myeloid cell line as a result of some somatic mutations that occur in the primitive multipotent hematological stem cell. In this case report, a patient diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia who was admitted to Izmir Katip Çelebi University Atatürk Training and Research Hospital Family Medicine Polyclinic with cough, sore throat and fatigue was discussed. In this case, it was tried to take attention to the importance of undifferentiated patient and low prevalence medicine in Family Medicine practice.
