Introduction :
Le kyste hydatique du cœur est une pathologie rare et ne représente que 0,5 à 2% de l’ensemble des localisations viscérales. Le but de notre travail est de rapporter notre expérience dans la prise en charge chirurgicale du kyste hydatique du cœur.
Patients et méthodes :
Il s’agit d’une étude rétrospective et descriptive. A propos de huit patients opérés pour un kyste hydatique cardiaque durant une période de 7 ans, allant de janvier 2012 au novembre 2019 au sein du service de chirurgie cardiovasculaire au Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Hassan II de Fès.
Résultats :
L’âge moyen des patients était de 33 ans. Une prédominance féminine a été retrouvée avec un sexe ratio de 0,25. La notion de contact avec les chiens a été mentionnée chez tous les malades. Nous avons observé des localisations multiples du kyste hydatique chez 4 cas. La douleur thoracique et la dyspnée constituent le motif de consultation le plus fréquent. La moitié des cas étudiés avait un électrocardiogramme normal. La sérologie hydatique est revenue positive dans 5 patients. Sept patients avaient une cardiomégalie. L’échocardiographie a objectivé chez 4 patients un kyste hydatique localisé au niveau de la paroi latérale et postérieure du ventricule gauche, chez trois malades un kyste implanté au niveau de la paroi de l’oreillette droite, et chez une patiente un kyste au niveau du péricarde mais restant attaché avec la paroi du ventricule gauche. Tous les patients ont bénéficié d’une résection chirurgicale sous circulation extracorporelle. Les suites post-opératoires ont été marquées par la survenue chez un patient d’une dysfonction ventriculaire droite. Le taux de mortalité et de 0%. Nous avons enregistré aucun cas de décès et aucune récidive jusqu’à l’heure actuelle.
Conclusion :
L’exérèse chirurgicale est la seule option thérapeutique curative du kyste hydatique cardiaque, elle doit être réalisée dès que le diagnostic est confirmé pour éviter toutes éventuelles complications.

Introduction:
The hydatic cyst of the heart is a rare pathology and represents only 0.5 to 2% of all visceral localizations. The purpose of our work is to report our experience in the surgical management of the hydatic cyst of the heart.
Patients and Methods:
This is a retrospective and descriptive study. About eight patients were operated on for hydatic heart cysts during a period of 7 years, from January 2012 to November 2019, in the cardiovascular surgery department at the Hassan II University Hospital Center in Fez.
Results:
The average age of the patients was 33 years. A female predominance was found with a sex ratio of 0.25. The notion of contact with dogs was mentioned in all patients. Multiple locations of the hydatic cyst were observed in 4 cases. Chest pain and dyspnea are the most common reasons for consultation. Half of the cases had a normal electrocardiogram. Hydatid serology came back positive in 5 patients. Seven patients had cardiomegaly. Echocardiography objectified in 4 patients a hydatid cyst located at the lateral and posterior wall of the left ventricle; in three patients, a cyst implanted at the wall of the right atrium; and in a patient a cyst at the pericardium but attached to the wall of the left ventricle. All patients received surgical resection under extracorporeal circulation. Post-operative follow-ups were marked by the occurrence of right ventricular dysfunction in one patient. The mortality rate is 0%. We’ve had no deaths and no recurrence until now.
Conclusion:
Surgical excision is the only curative therapeutic option for cardiac hydatid cyst; it must be performed as soon as the diagnosis is confirmed to avoid any possible complications.
