Few measures in preventive medicine are of such proven value and as easy to implement as routine immunization against infectious diseases. There are also other vaccines that need to be tailored to meet individual variations in risk resulting from occupation, foreign travel, underlying illness, lifestyle and age. In this study, we tried to review this important subject.
