Abstract

This study determined the variation in Beta-Carotene and Vitamin contents of Senna occidentalis (L.) and S. obtusifolia (L.). Leaves samples collected from Fadama and Upland locations were analysed for Beta-Carotene and Vitamins A and C nutrient composition using leaf extract beta-carotene method of Beta-Carotene and Vitamin A determination; and 2.6 dichlorophenol indephenol method for Vitamin C determination.
