Medically Unexplained Symptoms (MUS) constitute clinical conditions, which are highly frustrating for patients and clinicians. The patients complain of physical symptoms that cause extreme level of discomfort and physicians, are unable to find a cause for that inspite of extensive physical investigation.1
According to the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10), MUS are characterized by physical symptoms that suggest medical condition but not explainable on the basis of a medical reasons.2 A multicentre research conducted by World Health Organization (WHO) indicated, that the common denominators for MUS in all settings were anxiety and depressive disorder.3,4
