Mirsada Bejic.

Abstract

We report the case of a healthy 46-year-old man presenting with bulky ulcerous tumor on the volar base of right little finger. We will present the management of the tumor, based on a multidisciplinary team decision. In the literature, only a few cases of squamous cell carcinoma have been described on the palmar side of the hand. This is a rare case of hand skin tumor on an area not exposed to the sun, locally aggressive, in a young healthy patient.

Key words: Hand skin tumor, squamous cell carcinoma, spinocellular epithelioma, volar aspect of the hand
