From the desk of Editor
Salaam Alaikum,
In the name of Allah, the most merciful and beneficent. It is a great privilege and responsibility bestowed on me as the editor in chief of this prestigious journal of our University. At the outset let me express my whole hearted gratitude to our beloved Rector Dr.Khalid Bin Saad Al Meqrin and the Vice-Rector for graduate studies and Scientific Research Prof. Dr. Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al-Shaayaa for their confidence in me. While assuming this responsibility I acknowledge the hard work and great efforts of my predecessors and members of journal committee.
In the modern concept of holistic health care, which is a comprehensive to total patient care aimed to achieve an optimal balance between body, mind, spirit and emotion. MJHS being a journal of health sciences is an ideal platform for all the branches that deals with this. Sir William Osler a Canadian physician, who is considered as one of the greatest icon of modern medicine said He who studies medicine without books sails an uncharted sea, but he who studies medicine without patients does not go to sea at all. As per his words MJHS provides space for articles of systematic reviews, meta-analysis and case reports. Any intellectual undertaking that involves asking and answering questions those results in a new knowledge or help in organizing existing knowledge is called Research. Without medical research there are no new medicines, no new materials, no improved treatments or better ways of providing health care. So MJHS is encouraging more original research articles.
I have a strong belief that research can and should be fun and there is an immense satisfaction in generating new knowledge and MJHS will be an ideal platform for emerging and established researchers to exhibit their research projects. I am very happy to announce MJHS is stepping towards having its own journal website with facilities for online submission and tracking systems managed by EJ manager. Believe that the only thing that is constant is Change (Heraclitus). MJHS is indexed in Copernicus and now heading towards online submission facility, next In-shallah will be able to get indexed in more reputable search engines. Your critics and feedback will help us improve.
