Tourniquet Palsy in Upper Limb; A Case Report.

Abstract

Abstract:
Surgical procedures especially of orthopedics are lengthy and need intense care. During limb surgeries tourniquet is applied to prevent blood loss and perform the procedure smoothly. Application of Tourniquet may cause some complications in the form of nerve compression which need immediate attention. Here we present a case of “Tourniquet Palsy” with involvement of radial, ulnar and median nerve. The patient received physiotherapy treatment which lead towards his speedy recovery and prevented him from disabilities.
