First described by Zuska et. al. non-perpetual subareolar breast abscess is a benign disease. We present a case of a non lactating female patient with Zuska’s disease who underwent needle aspiration, Hadfield’s procedure, incision and drainage and finally resulted in lumpectomy. We discuss her case, her comorbidities and our plan of treatment. We believe this case is remarkable because of the extremely difficult treatment course of an otherwise benign disease.

Key words: breast abscess, Hadfield’s, needle aspiration, Zuska’s disease
