Purpose: Although several studies have been conducted to investigate the relationship between perceived organizational support and job satisfaction and commitment, it remains unclear whether this relationship is appropriate for faculty members at Iran universities. Thus, the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between perceived organizational support with organizational commitment and job satisfaction of university faculty.
Methods: 123 faculty members of sport sciences disciplines in public sector universities were recruited in the research. In order to data collection, the Perceived Organizational Support Questionnaire (POSQ), Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire and Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) were used The data was analyzed by Multiple regressions.
