ABSTRACT : Pilocytic astrocytomas are histologically benign low-grade astrocytic tumors seen predominantly during the first two decades of life. Pilocytic astrocytomas in the adult population as well as the hemorrhagic manifestation of pilocytic astrocytomas are quite uncommon. Here we present a case of the hemorrhagic manifestation of cerebellar pilocytic astrocytoma in a 48yr old male who presented with a history of vertigo and headache for a week
