Late preterm infants (LPI) are defined as delivery between 340/7 366/7 weeks of gestational age. In recent years, the number of LPI has risen according to preterm births especially in developed countries. Even though the LPI are premature, they have been considered as mature infants. Respiratory problems are the most common consequences of LPI. Therefore it is important to understand respiratory problems of LPI clearly. This review presents the updated data of early respiratory problems of LPI.
