Abstract

The aim of this paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of online mindfulness-based cognitive therapy to elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease during the lockdown period due to the COVID-19 epidemic. From January 23, 2020 to March 30, 2020, one hundred and thirteen elderly patients with stable COPD were selected as participants of the research, and a WeChat group was used for mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. CAT and mMRC were used to compare the symptoms and health status of patients before and after the epidemic lockdown.
