Surgical Studies on Corneal Disorders among Cats: Diagnosis and Treatment Techniques

Corneal disorders represent a leading cause of visual impairment in domestic cats, often requiring prompt diagnosis and specialized therapeutic management. This retrospective analysis encompassed 62 feline corneal disorder cases, extracted from a total of 100 documented ocular presentations at veterinary clinics in Alexandria, Damietta and Damanhour, Egypt, over a three-year period spanning December 2021 to December 2024. Corneal ulceration emerged as the most prevalent condition, affecting 35.48% of cases, followed by feline corneal sequestrum (20.96%) and herpetic keratitis (14.51%).
