Abstract

Department of Health statistics of PHI of FB&H in Sarajevo is analysing data about: Population information (demographic), information on the health status of the population (general and specific morbidity, absenteeism, disability index, etc.); lifestyle information (diet, smoking, alcohol), information on environmental factors that affect the health of the population, information on the state of health resources (Number, structure and distribution of health personnel, number, type and network of health institutions, equipment) and information on the use of health services (Number and type of health services according to the levels of health services provision) and information on the cost of health care and the economic aspects of health care.
