The analysis reveals how the evolution of parking structures has significantly influenced urban planning and improved transportation system efficiency, underscoring their crucial role in modern urban development. Ultimately, this paper provides a comprehensive review of the current state of parking structure systems and offers strategic insights for future advancements, envisioning future smart parking systems that seamlessly integrate emerging technologies and sustainable practices, thereby positioning them as essential components of efficient and sustainable urban mobility.
