Ayurvedic perspective of swine flu (Abhinyasa jwara)

Abstract

Ayurveda, one of the most ancient medical sciences of the world was evolved through intuitive, experimental and perceptual methodology. The main objective of Ayurveda is to promote health and thereby preventing the ailments and to relieve the humanity from all categories of miseries i.e. physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual. Ayurveda is not just a medical system. It sees human beings as an integral part of nature. Though Ayurveda is ancient in its origin, but its concepts like Janapadodwansa (Devastating epidemics) are still holds current importance.
