This study aimed to investigate the performance of prognostic nutritional index (PNI) to predict the respiratory-related hospitalization (RRH) risk over the course of a year in bronchiectasis patients. A total of 194 bronchiectasis patients were retrospectively evaluated in terms of chronic bacterial colonization and the bronchiectasis pattern, laboratory findings, FACED score and PNI on the day of presentation to the outpatient clinic in stable period, while patients were further followed up for RRH events over the course of a year.
