Abstract

Rawal Medical Journal was started in 1975 and this year we are celebrating its Golden Jubilee. During these years the journal has gone through many changes. I have been its editor-in-chief for last over 20 years. We have achieved a lot but lot is left to be done.
It was first published twice a year and for last about 15 years it is now a quarterly publication. We had submissions mainly from Pakistan but with our website, we had wider exposure. We are recognized by PMDC and later by HEC. In last 20 years we received over 5000 submissions with 59% acceptance rate.
