Introduction: Different types of cancer considered a major health issue worldwide that lead to a burden on the country and individuals. Each year 800 patients per million diagnosed with cancer. The most common type of cancer in Saudi Arabia is breast followed by colorectal. Screening test playing a major role in reducing morbidity and mortality as well as early detection can improve the quality of life of the patient. Rising awareness among the general population is curtailed for early detection.
Aim: To determine the level of knowledge, attitude, and perceived barriers regarding cancer screening in Saudi Arabia.
Materials and methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among the general population of Saudi Arabia from August 19 to August 30, 2020. The data were collected by using an online self-administered questionnaire translated into Arabic were distributed among the public.
