Aim: Partner violence during pregnancy has been recognized as an important health/human right issue and is associated with adverse health consequences for both fetus and woman. The aim of the study was to investigate partner violence, depression and loneliness in pregnant women living in rural and urban areas of Turkey.
Methods: This study was performed with pregnant women recruited from those making an appointment for antenatal care at two hospitals between September 2012 and February 2013 (n=600).
