Introduction: Primary headache is common in children and negatively affects quality of life and sleep. This study aimed to compare the sleep, quality of life, and chronotype characteristics of children with primary headaches to healthy controls.
Method: This cross-sectional study included patients diagnosed according to the "International Headache Classification-3." The "Sleep Disorders Scale for Children (SDSC)" assessed sleep characteristics, the "Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL)" evaluated quality of life, and the "Childhood Chronotype Questionnaire (CCQ)" examined chronotype preferences of patients and controls. A p-value of less than 0.05 was considered significant.
Results: The study included 50 patients with primary headaches and 50 healthy controls.
