An observational study to assess the practice regarding admission procedure among nurses who are working in Narayana Hospital at Nellore, Andhra Pradesh

Abstract

Admission to the hospital can be a traumatic experience with anxiety and fear for anyone. The patient no longer enjoys any of the special privileges enjoyed at home most people are not used to a hospital atmosphere regimen.
To assess the practice regarding admission procedure among nurses working in Narayana Medical College Hospital
An observational study approach and a descriptive research design was used to assess the practice regarding admission procedure among 100 nurses working in Narayana Medical College, Nellore. The tools consist of II parts. Part-I: Deals with demographic variables and Part –II deals with observational check list to assess the practice. Among 100 nurses, 78% have level is average and 22% has practicing level is good regarding admission procedure .
