Bone marrow in the spine suffices to various physiological demands and is susceptible to various disease
processes. Without sound knowledge about bone marrow physiologic processes, pathologies and variegated
MR imaging appearances, may lead to diagnostic errors and affecting prognosis and outcome. In present
we describe a patient who had myriad of marrow changes and how MRI was instrumental in clearly
delineating benign and malignant marrow changes.
