The frequency of genitourinary traumas, which are seen usually after blunt traumas in children is increasing quickly in correlation with technologic advances. Although genitourinary traumas are rarely the cause of death, there is a definite need for accurate diagnosis and treatment especially when one considers some of the longterm sequels of genitourinary injuries.
