Abstract

30 rabbits uere seperated into four groups as A.B.C and control Aflatoxin H, (AFBi ) had been given orally in different doses to the groups A.B.C for three mounths. On the other hand the control group were feeded with normal nutrients. The serum levels of ALP. AST. Af.'T were determined before and after aplication of AFB/ adminstration. the dif/ernces between first and last levels of AST and AL T were significant but levels of AI.P were unsignificant. The increasing in AST and ALT values were correlated directly with the AFB/ doses. The arginase activity levels of the entrcytes, liver and kidney in the groups A. B. C were compared with the control group. Only the liver arginase levels were statistically significant ,l.v a result, we concluded that even minimum dose of AFB/ shows its effectts particularly on the liver and causes the hepatocelluler damage. The increasing in AST and ALT levels were correlated with the liver arginase activity, f Journal of Turgut Özal Medical Center 1 (2):88-92.1994/
