Behaviours Of The Infertile Women with regard to Traditional InfertiHty Treatments And Influencing Factors.

Abstract


The aim of this study was to determine the behaviours of ınfertile women applying to Obstetric and Gynecology cünic at Turgut Özai Medicai Çenter in Malatya with regard to traditionai infertility treatments and relations with some demographic attribute. In this cross-sectionai study, 66 women applying to Obstetric and Gynecology cünic of Turgut Ozai Medicai Çenter between June and August 1997 were induded. The study was carried out using face to face questionnaire method. Nineteen women (28.7°%) had applied for traditionai methods apart froAm modern methods. CompUcations due to traditionai methods had occured in three out of 19 women. Educationai ievei and age was not determined to be statistically significant in applying for traditionai methods (p>0.05).
