Abstract


Diverticuta of the bladder are herniations of the b/adder mucosa betvveen fibres of the detrusor musc/e. Bladder diverticuta may be congenitat or acquired. Smaiier bladder diverticuta are often considered insignificant, atthough they may cause severat comp/ications such as stone formation, unresotved urinary tract infection ete. We report an unusual compiication secondary to a large bladder diverticulum.
