Primary nocturnal enuresis is a common childhood problem of debating aetiology. Skeletal maturation was studied by using standart wrist-elbow roentgenograms in 31 children of 15 girls and 16 boys with primary nocturnal enuresis, detected during elementary school screens in Malatya. Comparison was made with a control group of 27 children of 13 girls and 14 boys. In all these children laboratory results were normal except the bone age. Bone age, determined by the Tanner-Whitehouse method, did not show a statistical difference behind chronological age. But, it is observed that bone age was lower than the standarts in both patient and control groups. This finding should lead us to establish our Turkish bone age standarts.
