The Relation of Age With Malondialdehyde And Conjugated Diene In Healthy People

Abstract


 

Objective: This study aims to research the relation between age and lipid peroxidation products (LPP) such as malondialdehyde (MDA) and conjugated dlene (CD).

Method: Total of 195 volunteers were divided into seven groups of decades (19 years old or younger, 20-29 years old, 30-39 years old, 40-49 years old, 50-59 years old, 60­69 years old and 70 years old or older). MDA and CD levels of the plasma samples were determined by the methods of tiobarbituric acid (TBA) and Buege, respectively.
