Abstract

Spontaneous pneumothorax is a common disease and it originates from the rupture of bullae or blebs. Since its recurrence rate is about 50 percent, some advanced non-invasive or mini invasive treatment methods are preferable. We applied thoracoscopic bullae resection in two patients removing the chest tubes on the second postoperative day and the patients were discharged on the third and on the fourth postoperative day. There was no postoperative complication and serious pain following this procedure.
