Schwannomas are rare tumours of the digestive tract that arise from the Schwann cells of the gastrointestinal neural

plexus. Upper endoscopy is not always helpful in these exophytically growing submucosal tumors. Cross-sectional

imaging may be usefull adjunct in the detection and characterization of these tumor types. Computed tomographic

features of a 56 yrs old male case with gastric schwannoma were reported.
