Abstract


 

For nasopharyngeal cancers, sternal metastases are infrequently encountered. Advances in surgical techniques help

sternal resection and reconstruction to be considered as a treatment option for sternal metastases. In this report,

treatment of a patient with nasopharyngeal cancer and a solitary sternal metastases with sternal resection,

reconstruction using polypropylene mesh and methylmethacrylate patch and adjuvant radiation therapy has been

presented.
