In forensic medical cases investigated due to sudden death, cardiovascular pathologies rank first. However, in

developing countries infectious diseases are stil important. Forensic autopsy following sudden death in a 21 year

old male revealed bleeding due to pulmonary tuberculosis as the cause of death. This case emphasizes the

importance of forensic autopsy in revealing diseases which are not clearly defined premortem. Recognition of such

cases will prevent the emergence of new ones.

Key Words: Sudden death, Autopsy, Tuberculosis
