Successful Treatment of Unruptured Cornual Pregnancy Usıng Intravenous Methotrexate: A Case Report

Abstract
Cornual pregnancy, which is unusual type of ectopic pregnancy, comprises 2-4% of all ectopic pregnancies. Its morbidity and mortality are directly related to the length of time before diagnosis. Early diagnosis and effective treatment are essential to prevent patient from poor outcome. This paper presents a case of a cornual pregnancy diagnosed in the 5th week of gestation. Intravenous double dose Methotrexate (50 mg/m2) was used successfully in the treatment and follow-up was carried out using transvaginal ultrasound and serial B-hCG estimations.
